So! You'd like to make an NPC for use in a game. This guide should get you started. There are few initial differences between making an NPC and a character, but there are fundamental differences between the two that should be observed.
-An NPC character must be approved by an Admin before being used in any capacity. There are no exceptions to this.
-An NPC character must have a character sheet ready before approval will be considered. There are few exceptions to this.
-An NPC character is not limited to 30BP at creation, but keep in mind that the stronger your NPC is, the less likely we are to approve them. A good range to aim for is 30-40BP for an average or serious threat, and no more than 35-50 BP for a serious villain. If you want to go higher than this, ask an admin and explain why.
-An NPC character does not accrue Experience points in any capacity. If you want to develop them alongside their opposition, you must submit another draft for approval.
-An NPC character is not used with it's own subaccount. Threads they participate in are counted as experience gained for your already created characters.
-An NPC character can be used by anyone, provided they obtain permission from the creator of that NPC.
With those in mind, let's keep moving forward!
The title of your thread can be as flowery a name as you want - looking at you, Abyssals - but it has to include how many BP were put into making the character. Again, if you aim too high, Administration reserves the right to tell you to dial it back. We don't want anyone creating an invincible pseudo-deathlord to crash plotlines because they're frustrated with Solar Chargen rules. Here's an example of a decent thread title!

The thread itself should be comprised of a few simple sections.
Name: What's your NPC named?
Age: How long have they been a thing?
Exaltation/Caste: What kind of Thing are they?
Affiliations: Who do they do things with?
A Character Sheet would look decent linked here. Do so!
Summary:
This isn't unlike the bio section of a player character. Summarize what the NPC is all about, what they do, and who they usually do it with. Include their usual haunts, tips for handling them as players or Dungeon Master, or how the character would ideally fit into a story. Any miscellaneous notes should go here as well.
Combat Tactics:
Whether it's social combat, clandestine activities through henchmen or actual physical brawling, describe how the NPC opposes the heroes. It's very helpful to point out the charms they like to use and when, at which point they prefer to withdraw, and so on.
Once the character has been reviewed by an Admin and presumably inspected, we'll mark the title to reflect that it has been approved and you are good to go!
