With a sigh, Kira hung her head. "I'm entirely aware that I am not capable of taking the city on my own. I am not an army, and though I know more of how to operate most machines than many who try to do so, I can't repair them to working order." But still, the dead woman screamed in her thoughts. Rathess was hers for the taking. It was rightfully hers, it would always be hers, and nothing else in her life mattered more than reclaiming it from those whose touch had tainted and befouled her home. "But I cannot be moved from this path, Mister Akara. My road takes me to Rathess."
She took a moment, a deep breath, and sat up properly. Her hands rested in her lap, palms down, back straight, smile set in stone. "But your reason is much more sound than mine. A group of Chosen is more likely to succeed than two, no matter how strong. I can appreciate the truth in your words, Mister Akara, and I thank you for your counsel." Speaking like a queen now. Were her thoughts really so weak as to be usurped by a dead woman's even now? Or was her spirit simply more predisposed to authority than she had thought? There were many things about Kira that not even she knew.
"I am open to suggestions, then, for what to do next. My path leads to Rathess, but I'm willing to arrange for detours along the way." A pause to eat some bread, and also to think. "Provided you're willing to accept some company. I have some friends in this city, currently getting together supplies for our journey. We can always use them elsewhere, and I can't think of any expedition not improved by companions."

Akara offered a comforting smile, helping himself to another pastry. They were all so sweet! And Akara's thrice-damned tongue had ever been drawn to sweet things, as even Steel Eyes could attest. "I am something of a martial artist, and I believe that I'll make a suitable sparring partner for you." He suggested cheerfully. "If nothing else, my own skills could use refinement - I'm afraid that I am a jack of a few trades, and master of none. But if you've ever wished to learn the basics of martial arts or sorcery, I'd be happy to assist you." Akara assured his new companion with a grin.
"In the meantime, my primary duty is seeking out our kind and providing aid and structure - an ideal chance to earn a few friends for your cause." Akara explained, while carefully wiping his fingers clean of sugar glaze so he would no more be tempted to lick them. "And my associates have suggested that I travel north, towards Nexus, to make the acquaintance of a Night Caste. It should take me no more than a day to get there, and I'd love company for the ride!" Riding a tornado was great fun, but even it could get boring when you did so all the time. And Akara absolutely did so all the time.
He added a playful grin and nudged Kirasath with his elbow. "If you've never traveled by Stormwind Rider, you are in for a treat." Akara promised smugly, adding in a wink for good measure. "With favorable conditions, we could even be in Coral in perhaps a week or two - with little threat from the Mothers."
