"You misunderstand my intentions, my good general!" Kerbim promised cheerfully, making a grand show of waving a hand slightly in a sign of cheerful deference. He set his glass of wine down and smiled warmly, a practiced and disgustingly natural 'aww shucks' sort of smile that naturally assumed he was at fault for his own lack of graces. "I seek conquest over nothing, let alone your fine attentions - I am sure you have any number of concerns more important than myself to ponder."
Kerbim settled his hands into his sleeves and glanced Chu'nan's way. "In these times of tension, it is good to be able to relax and enjoy the company of our own, is it not?" We're all in this together, we're all Dragon Blooded, that totally kept people from trying to kill one another, didn't it? "I merely sought to introduce my new friend here to a woman I hold in high esteem; are there any among us who can claim that they couldn't benefit from more friends?"

Feng smirked and sat down as the lady and the boyish rogue exchanged pleasantries. "My intentions, since we're being honest.....nah, maybe later. For now, you both seem a lot less dull than many," he said with a shrug. The truth, but not in anyway a meaningful one. That was the thing with a lot of these Blessed Isle aristocrats. Everything had an end-game or a scheme. People couldn't learn to stop playing the game for ten minutes. "I feel things are about to get interesting soon enough, don't know why though....But i feel one of you is likely to be at the center of it."
The bartender left two glasses and bottle of spiced--well, spiced something--on the table. He poured himself one cup and smirked. "Thank you, sir," he said to the mortal who seemed genuinely surprised to see a dynastic aristocrat actually thanking a barkeep sincerely.
He chuckled. "I suppose it would be poor form for a merchant to aim for a diminishing return. As for Nagezzar," he said with a nod, "I doubt he could keep up," he said with a wink as he lifted his hands a little--he did talk with his hands far too much. "So then, if you're not hear to garner attention, it begs a question. What are you looking for? And would I have an interest in aiding you with it?" He raised an eyebrow. Was he teasing her? Challenging her? Crafting some joke only he was in on? Screwing around on his first night off in weeks? Hard to say. If he had a plan, he certainly wasn't telling. If he didn't have a plan, he certainly wasn't against stealing someone else's.
